PA leadership includes a PA President, PA Vice President, Class Rep Chair, and parent-led Committee Chairs.
PA President Responsibilities (1-year term)
- Oversee and support the Class Rep Chair and the Chairs of the Library, Sunshine, Yearbook, School Store, and Children’s Fair Committees.
- Coordinate PA-sponsored activities and events, including classroom celebrations, faculty appreciation initiatives, parent-relevant speakers, community service opportunities, and other events.
- Lead Class Rep meetings together with the School Director.
- Encourage Brick parents to become engaged community members through volunteering.
- Help identify initiatives to foster school spirit and community building.
PA Vice President Responsibilities (1-year term)
- Support the PA President in carrying out their duties.
- Agree to serve as President-elect.
- Encourage Brick parents to become engaged community members through volunteering.
- Help identify initiatives to foster school spirit and community building.
Class Rep Chair Responsibilities (1-year term)
- Attend Class Rep meetings and circulate a summary highlighting follow-ups.
- Communicate special announcements and news to Class Reps between meetings.
- Help to ensure consistent policies across classrooms with respect to school-wide initiatives.
- Serve as a resource for Class Reps to answer questions and provide guidance as needed.
