PA Leadership

PA leadership includes a PA President, PA Vice President, Class Rep Chair, and parent-led Committee Chairs. 

PA President Responsibilities (1-year term)

  • Oversee and support the Class Rep Chair and the Chairs of the Library, Sunshine, Yearbook, School Store, and Children’s Fair Committees. 
  • Coordinate PA-sponsored activities and events, including classroom celebrations, faculty appreciation initiatives, parent-relevant speakers, community service opportunities, and other events. 
  • Lead Class Rep meetings together with the School Director. 
  • Encourage Brick parents to become engaged community members through  volunteering. 
  • Help identify initiatives to foster school spirit and community building. 

PA Vice President Responsibilities (1-year term)

  • Support the PA President in carrying out their duties.
  • Agree to serve as President-elect. 
  • Encourage Brick parents to become engaged community members through  volunteering. 
  • Help identify initiatives to foster school spirit and community building. 

Class Rep Chair Responsibilities (1-year term)

  • Attend Class Rep meetings and circulate a summary highlighting follow-ups. 
  • Communicate special announcements and news to Class Reps between meetings. 
  • Help to ensure consistent policies across classrooms with respect to school-wide initiatives. 
  • Serve as a resource for Class Reps to answer questions and provide guidance as needed
