We are excited to announce that the 2012 Brick Family Festival will take place on Tuesday, May 29 at the Victorian Gardens Amusement Park in Central Park from 4 to 7 PM. As in years past, Brick will have exclusive use of Victorian Gardens during the Family Festival. Everyone will have unlimited access to all of the rides and carnival games, and we also will feature delicious food and special entertainment. It is an incredibly fun event for all ages, and anyone who has attended in the past will assure you it is not to be missed.
In addition to being a special end-of-the-year celebration, the Family Festival offers us a unique opportunity to support the Brick Church School. The funds we raise through underwriting, ticket sales and event merchandise help to cover many of the valuable resources provided by Brick, including scholarships, learning specialists and faculty training. You will hear more about this critical fundraising piece in the coming months.
Shortly, we will be sending out an official announcement of the Tuesday, February 28 kick-off meeting for all parents interested in volunteering for the event. There will be two kick-off meetings at Brick on February 28 to accommodate parents in both the morning and afternoon programs. We hope that many of you will join us in helping to create the magic of the Family Festival. As this is a community event, we very much want the help and support of as many Brick families as possible.
